To make a good narrative story:
- have a plethora of "he said,she said" words.
- give your characters a personality that shows through the writing.
-  you have to paint a picture of the situation and all the characters perspectives.
- know how to properly use punctuation.
- don't switch up your tenses.
- sometimes it makes things easier to base a story of something that actually happened.
-  a good friend once said "and of course xylophone" :)
